Surfing changed me …

It all sparked in 2018 on a surf trip to Australia. The moment I caught my first wave and felt that electric thrill, I knew surfing would forever shape my path.

After returning home, I decided to make a significant change in my professional path. I left my position as a Project Manager and enrolled at the University of Cologne to pursue a more meaningful vocation. My initial goal was to become a midwife, which led me to complete several preparatory internships with a self-employed midwife. During this time, I accompanied her both in hospital settings and on antenatal and postpartum home visits. I had the privilege of witnessing five remarkable and completely unique births – each one deepening my appreciation for the profound strength and individuality of every birthing journey.

Although the program of midwifery was already complete, the universe guided me in a different direction. I began my studies in Clinical Nursing, where I discovered a deep sense of purpose in maternal care. Throughout my training and subsequent work on the maternity ward, I supported mothers, their partners, and newborns during the first precious days of life. Earning my Doula certification became a natural extension of this passion – allowing me to empower mothers to approach birth with confidence and to offer compassionate, holistic support to families as they welcome new life.

Now, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. I can’t wait for our paths to align so I can walk beside you on your journey into motherhood.
